COVID-19, Contract Performance & The New ‘Standard’
Thursday, April 30, 2020
Gina L. Campanella, Esq., FACHE
Principal, Campanella Law Office LLC
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many elements of business contracts to the forefront that were previously assumed to be “standard” or “boilerplate” terms. Prior to the pandemic, these terms were often overlooked and deemed unimportant or deemed to be just some standard “filler” language that all contracts have. Now, these very same terms are dictating allocation of a limited chain of healthcare supplies, the ability for practices to seek rent abatement, and the ability to seek payment modification from service providers – just to name a few. This presentation will help you learn how to work with what you have, and how to look and these terms more critically going forward in what is sure to be a very different post-pandemic world.
