Session Description:

We will discuss "engagement" in general as a baseline. From there we will look at the role of staff and what changes/innovations should be considered to enhance their role. We will review technological options available. Overall and throughout the discussion we will consider the practice from the perspective of the patient. There are many things that a practice can do to enhance the patient experience - patients of all ages and cultures have different needs/perspectives that means that there is no boilerplate model. Each patient is different and relates differently to the staff and providers, each encounter is different so beyond the basics there are many creative ways to improve the patient experience. Patient retention and outcomes are keys to long term growth and ultimate success.
