About The Speaker: Rachel Nobbs joined SDCC in July 2021 to assist with some large projects that were underway. Since joining SDCC, my role has expanded, and I have since joined Jan in overseeing the HR functions and assisting in leading our People team.  My background for the last 25 years has been primarily focused on campus recruiting, on-boarding, performance management, and learning and development for a public accounting firm. I’ve had the privilege to serve with local, regional, and national diversity organizations focused on diversity and inclusion to help attract, hire, and retain future team members from a variety of backgrounds. I am a proud mom of 2 young adults: Jordyn (29) and Dakota (23) and a “nanny” to 2 grandsons: Mateo (6) and Jordan (4). I enjoy playing softball and beach volleyball with my kids, coaching my grandsons’ baseball team, and spending time with family.
