Speaker Bio:
Hugh Coppen grew up in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) and graduated from the University of Cape Town. Throughout his life, he has experienced literally hundreds of safaris in vehicles, on foot, in boats, paddling canoes and even on horseback.
In his professional career, he has lived and worked in the US, Canada and Europe and rose to become CEO of three different companies. For the last 20 years, from his home base in San Francisco, he has focused on leadership development and executive coaching with clients in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Africa.
Through Tasimba, a company he founded in 2015, he combines his twin passions for the wilderness and for leadership by personally leading guests on deeply immersive, experiential safaris in a vast, private wilderness.
