The online seminar will focus on transformation management and training. Humanizing and efficiency are more than words; they are key terms. These terms are not competitors, they are collaborators. Leadership and management have a key role in assuring this becomes or remains the focus. By having a duel focus it is possible to the reduce clinician and staff burnout, reduce staff and patient turnover, increase development and engagement, and financial stability and growth through application of tools and concepts that maximize both AI and HI.

Speaker Bio:

Owen Dahl is a principal of Owen Dahl Consulting, The Woodlands, Texas and the authored and co-authored several books related to medical practice management his most recent is “Humanizing Lean Leadership in Healthcare” available through MGMA where he is an active consultant. Currently hosts a podcast, Humanizing Healthcare. Owen has over 55 years of experience in hospital administration, physician practice consulting, owning a management services organization, MSO, and managing medical practices. As a keynote and webinar speaker he focuses on issues related to strategic planning, Lean and Six Sigma, culture, human resource management, financial management, revenue cycle, and patient and employee engagement. He is an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities. Owen received his bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and his master’s from the University of Northern Colorado. He has done additional studies at Nova Southeastern University, is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He served in the USAF.
