Speaker Bio:
Owen Dahl is a principal of Owen Dahl Consulting, The Woodlands, Texas and the authored and co-authored several books related to medical practice management his most recent is “Humanizing Lean Leadership in Healthcare” available through MGMA where he is an active consultant. Currently hosts a podcast, Humanizing Healthcare. Owen has over 55 years of experience in hospital administration, physician practice consulting, owning a management services organization, MSO, and managing medical practices. As a keynote and webinar speaker he focuses on issues related to strategic planning, Lean and Six Sigma, culture, human resource management, financial management, revenue cycle, and patient and employee engagement. He is an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities. Owen received his bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and his master’s from the University of Northern Colorado. He has done additional studies at Nova Southeastern University, is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He served in the USAF.

Bryan Dildy, JD, MPA, CPHRM is an attorney with deep expertise in healthcare risk management and patient safety. Before joining Schmid & Voiles, he served as a Senior Risk Management & Patient Safety Specialist with CAP, where he advised physicians on complex clinical and legal risk management issues. His prior roles include Director of Quality/Risk Management at Kindred Hospital in Gardena, Risk Manager at Dignity Health in Long Beach, and Assistant Director of Risk Management at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from St. John's University, a Master of Public Administration from Penn State, and a Juris Doctor from Purdue University.

Workplace culture can be an organization's greatest asset or its biggest obstacle. This program examines the common symptoms of toxic workplaces, including disengagement, cliques, turnover, burnout, and communication breakdowns.
Participants will gain insight into how unhealthy cultures develop and why negative patterns often persist. The session explores the roles of leadership, employees, and organizational systems in shaping workplace experiences and outcomes.
Attendees will learn practical approaches to improving communication, encouraging constructive feedback, reducing workplace conflict, and addressing behaviors such as gossip and incivility. By the end of the program, participants will have a framework for creating a culture built on respect, collaboration, and shared accountability.
Molly has more than 25 years of experience in the Human Resources field in organizations that vary in size and industry. Her background includes development of job descriptions, creation of company handbooks and newsletters, policy development, program implementation, performance feedback, and employee relations. She is an innovative problem-solver, with proven success in implementing win-win scenarios in difficult situations. Molly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from San Diego State University, a certificate in Human Resources Management from SDSU Extended Studies, a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University, and is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional through HRCI. In her free time, Molly enjoys yoga, hiking, learning about and tasting wine, and the company of family, good friends, and her cat.
